About Sutton Foundation

The Sutton Foundation was established in 1978 by a dedicated group of loving parents determined to create a supportive group home community for their autistic children. Their vision was to ensure their children could thrive in a nurturing environment with the help of compassionate, skilled staff.

Over the years, the Sutton Foundation has evolved into a trusted long-term care facility, proudly serving adults as a licensed Adult Residential Facility. Each home is carefully developed to meet the unique needs of its residents, guided by rigorous state and local regulations, comprehensive training, and consistent quality control.

Our Quality Guaranteed

Our mission is to create a safe, welcoming environment where residents can thrive, develop essential life skills, and achieve the highest level of independence possible with assisted care. As a behavioral program, we collaborate with licensed behaviorists to monitor and guide residents, providing personalized support to help them reach their individual goals. Each resident benefits from a tailored plan that integrates their circle of support—whether it includes family, teachers, or other trusted individuals—ensuring a holistic approach to developing life skills and fostering meaningful growth.

Providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Epilepsy, Developmental Delay, Intellectual or Learning Disabilities, and Down Syndrome is essential to fostering their well-being, growth, and independence. Specialized care helps address their unique challenges while enhancing their strengths, enabling them to navigate daily life with confidence and dignity. By offering tailored support, we can help individuals develop crucial life skills, improve communication, and participate more fully in their communities. Compassionate and informed care not only empowers individuals but also provides peace of mind for families, ensuring their loved ones receive the respect and opportunities they deserve to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Our commitment to quality care and our passion for ensuring every resident is treated with the utmost respect and attention drives us to create an environment where each individual can truly thrive.
